With the 2023 DSR/X, Zero Motorcycles dominated the electric and adventure sectors on September 13, 2022. The brand’s SR/F and SR/S continued to operate covertly while the first e-ADV garnered all the attention. Although the sportbike and naked bike versions were brand-new toys in 2020 and 2021, respectively, Zero is still making improvements to both platforms in 2023.
The explorer advanced Zero’s technology while the DSR/X introduced the electric vehicle market with an off-road-capable chassis and touring-friendly features. The dependable ZF 75-10 motor features a new 17.3 kWh power pack from the firm. All of Zero’s premium models are elevated by the increasing electric tide, and the SR/F and SR/S models now have large-capacity batteries.
Range and speed of Zero SR/S and SR/F

The 6 kW Rapid Charger from Zero is available in the Zero SR/S and SR/F accessory catalogues, much like the electric adventure bike. With 10 hours of Level 1 charge, 2 hours of Level 2 charging, and 1 hour of 6 kW Rapid Charging, all three models recover 95% of their battery capacity.
Unfortunately, Zero won’t offer the optional 20.9 kWh Power Tank on the SR/S nor the SR/F, which pushes the city range to 220 miles on the DSR/X. For 2023, the SR/F will sport a black and gold livery and retail for $23,795. The SR/S, on the other hand, will start at $23,995 and come with an asphalt gray and cyan color scheme. The 2023 models are now available at Zero dealers around the country.
When Moto Guzzi unveiled the V100 Mandello in November 2021, it created a stir in the sport-touring world. After creating such a stir, the Italian company withheld more information for over a year. After revealing the V100’s European pricing and availability, it appears that Moto Guzzi is now prepared to fully unleash the model.
This past weekend marked the beginning of the Moto Guzzi World Days 2022 celebration at the Mandello Del Lario facility (September 8-11, 2022). And who is the honoured guest? That’s right—the 2023 V100 Mandello. After the occasion, on September 12, 2022, Moto Guzzi began taking pre-orders in Italy. The V100 will come in a base model and an upgraded S trim, as anticipated.
Specifications
The liquid-cooled, DOHC, 1,042cc transverse V-twin engine will be advantageous for both variations. The new engine is the most powerful one that comes from Moto Guzzi, producing 115 horsepower and 77.4 lb-ft of torque.
With four riding modes (Travel, Sport, Rain, and Road), a Marelli 11MP ECU helps handle all of those horses, and a six-axis IMU enables multi-level traction control and lean-sensitive ABS. The five-inch TFT display on the motorcycle allows riders to operate the powerful electronics package. The V100 will introduce the first adaptive aerodynamics system with tank-mounted wind deflectors, but the innovation doesn’t end there.

The S variant further enhances the already remarkable package by including heated grips, a quick shifter, and Moto Guzzi’s MIA multimedia platform. The S-spec model will cost €18,249 (USD 18,500) and will be available in the high-end Verde 2121 and Grigio Avangiuardia paint choices. However, the regular V100 Mandello only costs €15,749 (USD 15,950). The base model will be available from Moto Guzzi in Polar White and Magna Red colours.
Sadly, the business hasn’t yet provided availability or pricing details outside of Europe. However, based only on MSRPs, we believe the V100 Mandello will compete fiercely in the sport-touring market.
As recently as 2020, Suzuki changed their flagship V-Strom adventure bike. That year, we spent a lot of time riding the V-Storm 1050 XT, inspired by DR Big. All except one situation—off-road—saw the ADV perform excellently. However, the 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE 1050DE won’t be available until next year.
Design and build
Suzuki made significant adjustments to the adventurer’s chassis to increase the platform’s reputation for off-roading. The full-size adventure bike’s 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels allow it to handle challenging obstacles, and the Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tires let it adapt to various terrains. Suzuki combines larger legs with redesigned shoes, increasing fore and aft suspension travel and ground clearance with the updated KYB 34mm USD fork and link-type rear shock.
The company adds a re-engineered swingarm that increases the length and torsional stiffness to support those efforts further. For optimal stability on the trail, the chassis improvements enhance the rake angle and wheelbase.
Riding experience
The remainder of the DE’s basic equipment reflects durability. The enduro-inspired three-piece front fender, aluminum bash plate, and engine accessory bar shield crucial parts from on- and off-road debris. Similarly, the rider gets support from a more durable chassis, stands on large steel footpegs, and uses broader, thicker handlebars to steer. In addition to a new full-color, five-inch TFT display, and a USB accessory slot, the cockpit comes with a trail-oriented windshield that improves sight, whether riding or standing on the pegs.

The 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE Adventure sweetens the deal for those considering long trips with 37-liter metal side cases and LED fog lamps. Suzuki provides two colours for the Adventure trim: Champion Yellow No. 2 and Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Pearl Vigor Blue and Pearl Brilliant White for the bagless DE.
The basic V-Strom 1050 completes the portfolio with gear geared toward the road while maintaining its roots in touring. All three models include a central stand for on-the-go maintenance. Still, the base model V-Strom keeps its cast wheels (19 inches up front and 17 inches behind) and height-adjustable windshield. The 1,037cc V-twin has protection from harm by a plastic under-engine cover, and the Metallic Reflective Blue / Metallic Matte Black No. 2 livery conveys the V-all-business Strom’s persona.

Many bikers refer to the SV650 as the “poor man’s Ducati Monster.” The Bologna brand redesigned its Monster platform last year with a single slate gray/red livery. Price and availability
There’s nothing new to say other than the new colors. The 645cc, 90-degree V-twin is still suspended on a trellis frame. Despite its lack of horsepower and innovation, the SV remains user-friendly, with a 30.9-inch seat height and a curb weight of 432-pounds. Suzuki hasn’t officially announced the model in the United States, although it was revealed in Italy. We expect three new(ish) paint jobs and an MSRP somewhat higher than the current $7,299 price tag.

The professionals at TTS Performance, a U.K.-based manufacturer of superchargers, have a passion for creating unique works of motorcycle art. Still, their limited-edition TTS SuperBusa (a Suzuki Hayabusa on steroids), designed in tandem with Kar Lee, is unique. That’s right, instead of admiring Lee’s graphic design work as a still image, TTS SuperBusa buyers will have the rare opportunity to own a bike that bears some of Lee’s work.

After a two-year sabbatical, the invincible KLR dual-sport motorcycle was reintroduced in 2022 with the Adventure and Traveler models. It has a modified fuel-injected engine, and the rider’s comfort, cockpit ergonomics, body design, and electronics were all upgraded.
We’ll have another year to consider that makeover carefully, as all variants will be back for 2023 with only minor cosmetic changes and updated pricing.

The previous semi-double-cradle steel structure remains in place for the upgraded fuel-injected 652cc thumper. Roads less frequented will be no match for the protective skid plate, spoked wheels, and long-travel suspension. At the same time, long-distance interstate travel will experience comfortable egos, a long wheelbase, and an enormous 6.1-gallon fuel tank. A two-position adjustable windshield and hand guards are features in the entry-level models, making them appropriate for any riding situation. The KLR is still a steal for $6,899 (non-ABS) or $7,199 (ABS) for 2023. (with ABS). The brand-new hues are Pearl Storm Gray, Pearl Solar Yellow, and Candy Lime Green.

With the Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure, riders no longer need to scour the aftermarket for ways to increase the KLR’s storage space, durability, or electrical features. In India, Ultraviolette Automotive recently had a private test ride of the highly awaited F77 electric motorbike. The production-ready F77 was on show during a test ride of this futuristic-looking, performance-oriented electric motorcycle at the TAAL Aerodrome in Tamil Nadu, India, ahead of its market release.
The business claimed in July 2022 that the production-ready version of the Ultraviolette F77 was soon around the corner. Now, just over a month after the announcement, the Indian electric company appears to be preparing to launch a full-fledged campaign centred on the impending electric motorbike. According to a report in the Indian motorcycle newspaper BikeWale, Ultraviolette will begin public test drives of this product in September 2022.

These are not as excellent as top-tier electric vehicles from firms like Energica and even Zero, but they operate wonderfully in India’s crowded metropolitan streets. The F77 prototype had a range of 81 to 94 miles initially. Expectations are that modifications to the bike will boost this range to more than 125 miles.

Now that the Ultraviolette F77 has been verified as being ready for production, it would not be shocking if the beginning deliveries of the much-awaited electric motorcycle started before the end of 2022. We previously reported that the F77’s first manufacturing run will be 15,000 units, with the business aiming to change its production schedule if demand for the bike proves robust. Given how many people have an interest in the bike, it’s hardly a surprise that these stats will quickly alter.
