Suzuki SV650 2023 Arrives in Italy with Three New Colors

0

The stock market is volatile. Gas prices continue to fluctuate. These days, even the weather is uncertain. In this unpredictable world, we can depend on one thing: Suzuki will bring back the SV650 for another year.

The House of Hamamatsu appears satisfied to continue producing the SV650 in its existing configuration. Suzuki last updated the model in 2017. Since then, the firm has released the café racer-styled SV650X in 2018, however, the version was only available for a limited time.

Suzuki’s North American website only offers the base SV and its ABS equivalent in 2022, and new 2023 colors announced in Italy hint that upgrades to the platform aren’t coming anytime soon.

Design elements

Suzuki thinks that by linking its current hues with world-famous places, the Blu Las Vegas, Gray London, and Black Dubai will exude luxury. The Black Dubai livery has the same bronze-painted trellis frame and glosses black paint base as the 2022 Glass Sparkle Black livery. Dubai Black, on the other hand, adds bronze-colored wheels as highlights. The Blu Las Vegas color scheme uses the same frame and wheelset but adds a navy blue tank and tail portion.

The Gray London paint job is the most appealing, but not for solely aesthetic reasons. Many bikers refer to the SV650 as the “poor man’s Ducati Monster.” The Bologna brand redesigned its Monster platform last year with a single slate gray/red livery. Suzuki appears to have taken another leaf from Ducati’s playbook with the Gray London option for the SV650.

Price and availability

There’s nothing new to say other than the new colors. The 645cc, 90-degree V-twin is still suspended on a trellis frame. Despite its lack of horsepower and innovation, the SV remains user-friendly, with a 30.9-inch seat height and a curb weight of 432-pounds. Suzuki hasn’t officially announced the model in the United States, although it was revealed in Italy. We expect three new(ish) paint jobs and an MSRP somewhat higher than the current $7,299 price tag.

Furygan Higgins Evo Gloves Provide Superior Protection For Riders.

Your riding style affects the gear you buy, and the gear you wear on a given ride should alter how you ride. When I’m zipping about town on my bike, I ditch the bulky stuff in favor of breathable mesh clothes and my trusty pair of riding sneakers.

When going for a spirited ride in the countryside or a day at the track, it’s always a good idea to have the greatest protection money can buy. Almost every major sporting goods producer offers a selection of products geared toward performance.

The French manufacturer Furygan produces similar gear and machinery. The Higgins Evo gloves are an upgrade to the brand’s previous performance-oriented sportbike gloves. They were meant to be a part of the company’s summer riding gear line to provide riders with more safety and comfort.

Build and certification

In the several reinforcements around the palm and rear, goat leather, used throughout the Higgins Evo, serves as the sole material. It looks like a sports car and comes in either a red or black model with lively small designs. The slider on the palm, the pads on the phalanges, and the enhanced metacarpal protective shell all point to the model’s increased safety. This prototype has a certificate of level 1 KP PPE, and it meets the requirements of European Standard EN 13954.

Furygan sells the Higgins Evo gloves, available in sizes ranging from small (S) to extra-extra-large (XXXL), in three color combinations: black/white, black/red, and black/white/red. These gloves cost 109.90 Euros ($109.50) at retail.

The TTS Performance-Brought Suzuki Hayabusa as SuperBusa, Packing 372 HP

Can’t get enough of designing cool biker pictures? In most cases, we don’t get to witness the realization of a vision, regardless of the medium chosen to do so, unless we construct it ourselves. Through his KarDesign Koncepts and MotoKandi online portfolios, Kar Lee is the creative mind behind many of the most popular motorcycle designs on the web.

There are instances when Lee makes adjustments that supporters believe the OEMs should have made. Regardless of the topic, he always contributes something useful to the discussion of design, and his passion for gears shines through in every sketch he shares with the world.

TTS SuperBusa

The professionals at TTS Performance, a U.K.-based manufacturer of superchargers, have a passion for creating unique works of motorcycle art. They’ve produced supercharger kits for various motorcycle brands, including Harley and Yamaha. Still, their limited-edition TTS SuperBusa (a Suzuki Hayabusa on steroids), designed in tandem with Kar Lee, is unique. That’s right, instead of admiring Lee’s graphic design work as a still image, TTS SuperBusa buyers will have the rare opportunity to own a bike that bears some of Lee’s work.

Specifications

In honour of the company’s 40th anniversary in 2022, TTS Performance is producing a limited edition run of 40 TTS SuperBusas. The TTS SuperBusa prototype got upgraded for performance. It produces 372 brake horsepower and roughly 190 pound-feet of torque, thanks in no way to adding a supercharger.

Each SuperBusas sold will be unique, with various available performance upgrades to suit the buyer’s specific needs. Ohlins suspension, Brembo monobloc callipers, custom paint jobs and graphics by Lee, and so on are some of the features of this bike.

Although the prototype in this image lacks the carbon-fibre aerodynamic winglets seen in the concept art, they will be back in the production model. Richard Albans of TTS says they are in the testing phase now but will be a productive part of the small batch of bikes the company produces.

2023 Kawasaki KLR650 lineup preview

Since its launch in the late 1980s, Kawasaki KLR650 has garnered praise as a versatile adventure motorbike capable of virtually any task. Although the venerable vet hasn’t altered much over the years, it has earned a devoted fan base due to its many redeeming qualities. After a two-year sabbatical, the invincible KLR dual-sport motorcycle was reintroduced in 2022 with the Adventure and Traveler models. It has a modified fuel-injected engine, and the rider’s comfort, cockpit ergonomics, body design, and electronics were all upgraded.

We’ll have another year to consider that makeover carefully, as all variants will be back for 2023 with only minor cosmetic changes and updated pricing.

2023 Kawasaki KLR650/ABS

The previous semi-double-cradle steel structure remains in place for the upgraded fuel-injected 652cc thumper. Roads less frequented will be no match for the protective skid plate, spoked wheels, and long-travel suspension. At the same time, long-distance interstate travel will experience comfortable egos, a long wheelbase, and an enormous 6.1-gallon fuel tank. A two-position adjustable windshield and hand guards are features in the entry-level models, making them appropriate for any riding situation. The KLR is still a steal for $6,899 (non-ABS) or $7,199 (ABS) for 2023. (with ABS). The brand-new hues are Pearl Storm Gray, Pearl Solar Yellow, and Candy Lime Green.

2023 KLR650 Adventure/ABS

With the Kawasaki KLR650 Adventure, riders no longer need to scour the aftermarket for ways to increase the KLR’s storage space, durability, or electrical features. The Adventure comes standard with dependable accessories: Included in the base price of $7,899 (non-ABS)/$8,199 (ABS) are the SHAD 21-liter hard bags, engine guards, and tank pad, LED auxiliary lights, DC and USB connections (ABS). Both Kawasaki KLR650 Adventures will have a Cypher Gray camouflage for 2023.

The F77 Electric Motorcycle Will Now Be Released By Ultraviolette.

In India, Ultraviolette Automotive recently had a private test ride of the highly awaited F77 electric motorbike. The production-ready F77 was on show during a test ride of this futuristic-looking, performance-oriented electric motorcycle at the TAAL Aerodrome in Tamil Nadu, India, ahead of its market release.

The business claimed in July 2022 that the production-ready version of the Ultraviolette F77 was soon around the corner. Now, just over a month after the announcement, the Indian electric company appears to be preparing to launch a full-fledged campaign centred on the impending electric motorbike. According to a report in the Indian motorcycle newspaper BikeWale, Ultraviolette will begin public test drives of this product in September 2022.

Specifications

The group went on to add that it has received over 65,000 pre-order enquiries from people in 190 countries. Ultraviolette is one of the most intriguing electric car companies in India, according to several EV enthusiasts. While many other Indian manufacturers focus on making ultra-low-cost, budget-friendly two-wheelers, Ultraviolette tackles the market with a performance-oriented strategy. The F77’s performance figures are equivalent to those of a 400- to 500-cc internal combustion motorbike.

Ultraviolette F77 featured
Ultraviolette F77 prototype

The F77 can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds and achieve a peak speed of 94 miles per hour, according to Ultraviolette. These are not as excellent as top-tier electric vehicles from firms like Energica and even Zero, but they operate wonderfully in India’s crowded metropolitan streets. The F77 prototype had a range of 81 to 94 miles initially. Expectations are that modifications to the bike will boost this range to more than 125 miles.

Now that the Ultraviolette F77 has been verified as being ready for production, it would not be shocking if the beginning deliveries of the much-awaited electric motorcycle started before the end of 2022. We previously reported that the F77’s first manufacturing run will be 15,000 units, with the business aiming to change its production schedule if demand for the bike proves robust. Given how many people have an interest in the bike, it’s hardly a surprise that these stats will quickly alter.

With new colorways, the Yamaha YZF-R3 and YZF-R7 flip the script in 2023.

Some of the most approachable Supersports on the market are Yamaha‘s YZF-R3 and YZF-R7 models. The handling, dependability, and practicality of the two models—while they appeal to different expertise levels—compensate for their differences in raw power. That is what keeps a lot of new and experienced riders coming back to R World. In 2023, Team Blue gives the R3 and R7 formulas a bit more heat.

Specifications of YZF-R3

The lack of significant mechanical improvements for the R3 in 2023 from Yamaha isn’t always bad. The little supersport keeps the same dependable 321cc parallel-twin, DOHC. It is with an eight-valve engine and a steel diamond frame. With 5.1 inches of travel from the USD front end and 4.9 inches from the preload-adjustable mono-cross rear shock, the R3 is still manageable because of its 30.7-inch seat height.

Pricing and availability of YZF-R3

Fast yet secure handling is provided with a 54.3-inch wheelbase and a 25-degree rake, living true to Yamaha’s reputation. The 375-pound motorcycle gets 56 mpg while sipping fuel from a 3.7-gallon tank. For 2023, the Team Yamaha Blue and Midnight Black hues are still available, but a brand-new Phantom Purple livery with artwork reminiscent of the 1990s steals the show. Regardless of the color scheme you like, the 2023 Yamaha YZF-R3 costs $5,499.

Specifications of YZF-R7

With the returning R7, the bLU cRU follows the same pattern. The middleweight sportbike maintains its current mechanical design. The liquid-cooling, fuel injection, 11.5:1 compression ratio, and four valves per cylinder of the 689cc parallel-twin continue to be advantages. The slipper clutch is still in place, easing the downshifts of the six-gear transmission while riding.

2023 Yamaha YZF-R7
2023 Yamaha YZF-R7 2023

A linked-type mono-cross shock with preload and rebound adjustments stabilizes the ride while an adjustable USD fork responds to the track and the twisties. There’s no corner the R7 doesn’t tackle with its 54.9-inch wheelbase and 23.7-degree rake and Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres only emphasize that agile character. The supersport, which has a 3.4-gallon fuel tank and weighs 414 pounds, maintains its practicality with a 58-mpg rating.

Pricing and availability of YZF-R7

The R7 maintains its regular Team Yamaha Blue and black color schemes, much like its younger sister, but the new Intensity White lives up to its name. With prices starting at $9,100 for each of the three colors, Yamaha’s sportbike collection continues to be an affordable and enjoyable choice.

Introduction

Motorcycle manufacturers have had even more time to create, enhance, and craft the greatest new motorcycles in 2022 after the epidemic forced the cancellation of major exhibits and public premieres last year. Your desire for freedom and adventure will be heightened due to the prolonged lockdowns that have taken place over the planet. Getting a new motorcycle is a great way to celebrate the joy of being alive.

There is, of course, a lot to think about before purchasing one of the high-tech new motorcycles in 2022. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the top 12 new motorcycles in 2022 for you. So, consider why these top 12 finest bikes are a great investment for 2022.

Different types of motorcycles

It’s crucial to consider what sort of riding you’ll be doing before buying a new motorcycle this year. So, before we figure out which motorbike is perfect for you, let’s look at the many motorcycle types.

Short-distance travel and commuting are the primary functions of street bikes. Their upright sitting position, basic design, excellent handling, and no-frills electronics will meet your urban road demands.

Cruisers are your best bet for a laid-back weekend ride without dealing with the rigors of dirt roads. Instead of focusing on raw power, you might consider cruiser qualities like more capacity, seat comfort, and aesthetics.

The name of sports motorcycles tells you everything you need to know. These high-speed machines are designed to keep you safe and secure!

An adventure bike may be the greatest all-around motorbike in this list of new motorcycles in 2022. You can ride them on any road because of their efficiency and off-road characteristics.

Dualsport bikes are another wonderful option if you’re seeking an all-arounder. Whether you favor dirt trails or cross-country asphalt, these bikes are strong, swift, and adaptable to your riding style.

Detailed buyer’s guides for each sort of riding may provide a wealth of knowledge on the many categories and subcategories.

What should you expect from a motorcycle in 2022?

More power

Motorcyclists often buy more powerful motorcycles to have faster and more efficient acceleration. The top motorcycles on the market in 2022 have a lot of horsepowers, a lot of torque, and larger engines that allow them to reach peak speeds on any type of road.

Refined designs

When selecting the top motorcycle, we can’t deny that aesthetics play a significant role. 2022 will be an exciting year for bikers, no matter what type of rider they are or how long they’ve been racing.

Innovative technologies

Additionally, in this list of new motorcycles in 2022, the top bikes will feature cutting-edge electronics systems, rider assistance and enhanced safety features that can’t be underestimated in light of the sheer raw might of today’s most remarkable two-wheelers.

Ease of use

The new motorcycles of 2022 will be loaded with hightech innovations that will increase your riding and racing safety and provide you with more comfort and convenience. If you’re looking for the most relaxing and pleasant ride possible on your next car, you’ll be pleased to know that the newest technology is here to help.

Enhanced aerodynamics

Your motorbike uses a large portion of its power to overcome air resistance. When motorcyclists feel the roughness of turbulence on their helmets, they’ll fork over money to avoid it. As a result of these improvements, 2022’s top-rated motorcycles will have lower drag coefficients and more comfortable suspension systems.

Affordability

Riders and non-riders alike have become more concerned over the last decade. Manufacturers have responded by improving engines and lowering emissions to new lows, while electric bikes are increasing. Investing in one of the top twelve new motorcycles in 2022 will benefit the environment and your bank account in the long term.

Top 12 new motorcycles in 2022

1. Triumph tiger sport 660

Triumph has returned with the Tiger Sport 660, following the success of the Trident 660. It’s a sports tourer that incorporates all of the Trident’s best features into an inexpensive and accessible package!

With its 660cc 80hp triple engine, switchable traction control, rider modes, and great Nissin brakes, you can anticipate this bike’s fantastic all-around performance. A more comfortable riding posture with wider handlebars, a larger windscreen, fairing, and a 17-liter fuel tank are all part of the Tiger’s new look. In addition, the new aesthetics look fantastic!

Triumph TIger Sport 660
Triumph TIger Sport 660

The only drawback we could discover with the Trident was its stylish seat would not be ideal for extended journeys with a pillion. The Trident changed the game, and the £8,450 Tiger Sport 660 will do the same. In 2022, we fully expect this to be a great smash!

2. MV Agusta superveloce AGO

Giacomo “Ago” Agostini is the inspiration for this new-classic, high-tech racer. The Superveloce’s inline three-cylinder engine makes 147 horsepower at 13,200 rpm. It features ’70s racing-inspired fairings that are a real plus motorcycle aesthetics. Our favorite is the Ago homage design in flaming red with yellow highlights.

Only 311 of this model will be there to commemorate the career of 15-time world champion Giacomo Agostini. It is based on the already superb Superveloce series. Electronically assisted up and down quickshifter, unique asymmetrical exhaust, carbon bodywork, and distinctive Ago livery are all included in the MVICS 2.1 electronic system.

MV Agusta Superveloce AGO
MV Agusta Superveloce AGO

All those high-tech components mean you should expect significant performance. This bike has a 147hp 798cc triple inline engine, which weighs 173 pounds. Despite the price tag of £28,660, this one-of-a-kind collector’s item is a work of beauty.

Most beautiful bike at EICMA 2021

It also has a 5.5-inch color display, Bluetooth connectivity, and GPS. Also, the MV Ride App allows customers to track and customize their motorcycle’s suspension, traction control, and ABS settings via a smartphone app. Sharing routes and experiences with the MV Agusta community is also possible through the app. Ago, the “Most Beautiful Bike of Show” winner at EICMA 2021, is one of four new attractive Superveloce models for 2022.

3. Ducati streetfighter V4SP

Aside from Ducati’s new Streetfighter V4 SP, the Italian manufacturer has a slew of improved models planned for 2022 because this is a top 10 list rather than a top 40. We can only include one.

Already a formidable machine, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is about to get even more stunning (and dangerous) thanks to a new special version due in 2022. The V4 S’s 208 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque come from the same 1103cc Desmosedici engine. The weight ratio is different, though.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP
Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP

The new SP model is now 3 kg lighter thanks to a new lightweight lithium battery and carbon replacement components. To its already impressive list of technological features, it now has an STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, Brembo Style R front calipers, and an Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 smart suspension system. I can tell that smart suspension will be standard equipment on all future bicycles. It’s also worth noting that he has wings.

Ducati’s winter test livery is used as the basis for the matt black finish on this model. At a price tag of over $30,000, we won’t be seeing many of these machines on the market!

4. Aprilia Tuareg 660

RS125 and RSV4 are Aprilia’s best-known models, but there’s no middle ground regarding power and performance. The launch of their new 660cc engine in the RS660 and the Tuono 660 last year altered everything. So far, so good, but this year they plan to keep the momentum going by introducing the Tuareg 660, a new adventure vehicle with this engine.

You can purchase a vintage-looking version of the Tuareg, which was first introduced in the mid-80s. It’s nice to see some of the old retro aesthetic flair making its way over to this newer vehicle version.

Aprilia Taureg 660
Aprilia Tuareg 660

Now that the 659cc engine has been put through its paces, the 79bhp it generates is likely to put a serious dent in the competition. Despite its Rally-inspired design, Aprilia has ensured that this bike can still perform well on the road thanks to numerous rider modes and switchable traction control. The off-road mode even has a button for ABS, and cruise control is included if you’re on a road trip. Here, it appears Aprilia has found its sweet spot, a touch costly but packed with more electronic gizmos than most of its competitors.

5. Yamaha MT-09

The MT-09 saved Yamaha’s bacon when it was released in 2013. I’d never seen a Japanese bike like this: it had personality. Powered by a three-cylinder engine that was both powerful and smooth, this car was a joy to drive.

For 2022, Yamaha will update the MT-09 with a larger engine, a more modern chassis, and more electronic controls and features. The bike is better off without them.

Yamaha MT-09
Yamaha MT-09

It’s up to you whether or not you like the way it appears, but no one can deny the bike’s capabilities. It’s not the most comfortable seat in the house. Still, the chassis is fantastic, and the 117-horsepower engine blends well with the chassis, even if the chassis is capable of handling more. In its current form, this bike is a terrific choice for long rides through the countryside but is equally at home in the city as a daily commuter.

Lean-sensitive traction control (LST), ABS, wheelie control (WSC), and a quick two-way shifter are all included in the high-end electronics package. It’s possible that the TFT dashboard could be more visually appealing.

Even though it feels cheap compared to rivals like the Triumph Street Triple and the KTM 890 Duke R, it’s more affordable than the Triumph and KTM. However, it’s one of the most amusing Japanese motorcycles, with a lot of character.

6. Honda NT1100

So far, we’ve focused on high-powered superbikes. Still, there’s also a tremendous market for more practical adventure and touring motorbikes, and manufacturers expect to meet that need by 2022.

Honda NT1100
Honda NT1100

The NT1100 is Honda’s most recent sports tourer. The NT1100 is a pure sports tourer based on the recently updated Africa Twin. However, the new Africa has gone even further in the off-road direction. To bridge the space between the Tenere and Versys and BMW’s R1300GS, Honda has set a price of £11,999 for its new motorcycle (coming 2022 as well, by the way).

Aside from heated grips and panniers, the NT1100 also has a 6.5-inch touchscreen with multimedia connectivity, all of which come standard, despite the bike’s low price. Maximum wind and weather protection (perfect for us Brits) and an emphasis on relaxed cruising characterize this motorbike.

7. Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello

Introducing a brand-new model to commemorate Moto Guzzi’s 100th anniversary would be the ideal way to do it. Unfortunately, because of the recent Covid scenario, the V100 Mandello didn’t make it to the United States, but here’s what we already know about it.

An important development in Guzzi’s current lineup, the V100 Mandello represents a step forward in performance and technology from the company’s current concentration on entry-level bikes with accurate historical styling. At 9,500 rpm, the Mandello’s new liquid-cooled 1042cc engine produces 115 horsepower and an outstanding 105 Nm of torque. Besides, it boasts riding modes, adjustable traction control and cruise control, and quickshifter and hlins Smart EX 2.0 semi-active suspension, identical to Triumph’s Smart EX 2.0 suspension.

Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello
Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello

Another innovation that makes this motorbike stand out is Active Aerodynamics. This feature is the first in the industry. There are wind deflectors on the side of this Guzzi’s tank, and they are customizable to optimize wind resistance and ride quality at any time. Although this Italian gem’s pricing and release date are unknown, keep an eye out for it in 2022!

8. Suzuki GSX-S1000GT

There has been a resurgence in sport-tourers, as seen by this list of upcoming models, with Suzuki’s new GSX-S1000GT being the most impressive so far, and this is the final one I will highlight.

Suzuki GSX-S1000GT
Suzuki GSX-S1000GT

Even though the purpose is to be a comfortable long-distance cruiser, Suzuki has given this tourer some real superbike capability by fitting a 150bhp 999cc engine into the package. The most remarkable aspect of the GSX-S1000GT is its sheer value for money. High-quality parts and advanced rider aids feature in this motorcycle’s $11,599 price tag. The angular aesthetic design of the new angular KYB forks, Brembo brakes, cruise control, quickshifter, slip and assist clutch, and full color 6.5″ TFT display with phone connectivity are all here.

9. Kawasaki Z900RS SE

Aside from aggressive sport and street motorcycles, Kawasaki has also introduced some fantastic throwback bikes in the last few years. It includes the Z900RS in 2017 and its smaller brother, the Z650RS, which was also a big hit.

When the Z900RS SE arrives in 2022, it’ll be a limited-edition special edition of the RS. The black and yellow paint job and golden USD forks and rims give this motorbike a retro vibe that is hard to ignore.

But it’s not all about design; the 948cc in-line four, 110bhp engine from Z900 still performs well, and the SE model adds Brembo brakes and an hlins S46 rear shock to the mix. Motorcycle Live’s Z900RS SE is a standout model, and it’ll set you back £12,599 when it ships.

10. Harley Davidson Pan America 1250 Special

After releasing the Pan America in 2021, Harley-Davidson entered the adventure-touring market. Pan America features H-Revolution D’s Max 1250 liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 150 horsepower and 95 lb-ft of torque with a 9,500 rpm redline.

Top-of-the-line braking and suspension components, as well as electronics, all contribute to 2021’s greatest surprise.

Among the many innovations, Harley-Davidson pioneered was the ability to lower the suspension when the bike came to a rest. It is a clever solution to the problem of tall adventure bikes. Among the new suspension features on the 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250, Special is the Vehicle Load Control (VLC) system, which detects the rider’s weight and adjusts the rear suspension’s preload, as well as cruise, traction, and wheelie controls and a variety of riding modes, all which can be customized via the bike’s dashboard screen. More features include adaptive riding height, which allows users to adjust the seat height. The Pan America 1250 Special costs $19,999, a little more than the normal.

11. Zero SR 2022

Zero Motorcycles introduced the 2022 Zero SR, which has a longer range and better performance than its predecessors. The SR is powered by a ZF 75-10 motor and is the first model to use a ZFORCE 14.4+ kWh power pack, resulting in higher torque and speed than prior models. Even though the SR lacks a standard gas engine, the vehicle nonetheless produces 74 horsepower and 122 lb-ft of torque. The bike’s bespoke swingarm and Showa suspension, as well as its sophisticated frame, provide an energetic and intuitive riding experience.

The SR’s battery capacity may be increased to over 21 kWh with the addition of the 3.6 kWh Power Tank attachment and software upgrades from the Cypher Store. This gives the SR an extra 227 miles of range. There is, of course, a slew of other useful technology: Information like bike status, charging status, and system updates are sent directly to Zero’s app via the SR’s cellular connection.

12. Triumph speed triple 1200 RR

A true show-stopper, the new Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR!

This new Speed Triple has us a little perplexed. There are a few important changes between this new model and the Speed Triple RS, including the engine’s 1160cc 178bhp three-cylinder displacement and the frame’s design.

Clip-on bars come in place of the original bars, and the pegs have been moved back somewhat. Now that I’ve sat on it, the riding posture falls between the middle of a sportbike and a super naked, so the goal is to make the bike more usable for daily commutes than a regular super-bike may be. Carbon accents and a lovely front cowl with a single circular headlamp complete this bike’s distinctive look. It’s a pleasure to ride.

Technology is also vital to the Speed Triple 1200 RR, including an impressive-sounding, electrically adjustable semi-active suspension system from Ohlins Smart. What precisely does this imply? Even while the fork and the shock are manually adjustable, they can make tiny changes based on the current ride circumstances. At £17,950, it’s a steal when compared to its competitors.

Conclusion

In 2022, there will be a wide variety of new motorcycles on the market. It includes sport bikes with creative designs and more power than ever, Paris-Dakar-inspired adventure bikes, and Harley-brave Davidson’s new foray into the ADV market with a new, aggressive machine. Style, comfort, pure power, and off-road prowess are all available. There are various electric motorcycles for those who don’t want to burn fossil fuels.

To begin with, you have purchased your new 2022 dream bike. Consider the safety of yourself and your new bicycle and the upkeep of your new ride when you buy your first bike! As a brand-new bike owner, keep these things in mind:

If you have purchased a new motorcycle, your power and speed may have risen, and you may want to consider purchasing new protective gear.

EVO XT-300 helmet review

Introduction

Welcome to our review of the EVO XT-300, a fullface helmet released earlier. When modernizing the XT-300 helmet, EVO did an outstanding job. They started with a very aggressive design intended to be worn. The internal fit is also considerably more comfortable than ever, thanks to a Dura-Flex inner comfort lining.

The XT-300 features an enhanced ventilation system that significantly raises its aerodynamic performance. Naturally, this helmet does have certain drawbacks as well. In the following parts, we’ll discuss the advantages and disadvantages in detail.

Features

• Shell and liner constructed of thermoplastic material and polystyrene

• Laser cut foams and linings for a superior fit

• Removable, washable and quick dry lining

• With cooling aero vents that provide maximum airflow.

• Quick-release D.O.T spec metal buckle chin retention system

• Certified DOT FMVSS 218 with ICC sticker

Build and design

This helmet’s ABS composite shell offers more safety and less weight. A fullface helmet shouldn’t be too heavy, yet the EVO XT-300 only weighs just over 3 pounds.

The XT-300 has an intermediate to long oval shape that will fit most riders when it comes to fitting. Even more so than your typical intermediate oval motorcycle helmet, this helmet is slightly spherical from the front to the rear. Remember that after a long time of riding, if the helmet hasn’t broken in, the fit between your cheeks will be very tight.

According to fitting standards, the XT-300 will fit riders who need more forehead room the best and less well for those who need more room in the ear and temple regions. When we glance at the side of the helmet, we notice the aggressive appearance of a street-fighter helmet while also noting its practicality.

Vision

The EVO XT-300 uses the same transparent face shield as the EVO GT Pro helmets. This indicates that it has no anti-fog coatings, but it is optically accurate. Fortunately, this face shield is Pinlockcompatible.

The side pods that hold the face shield together may have some excellent detents. Overall, operating the face shield may be done with just one finger and a gloved hand. With the addition of Pinlock functionality, we have no complaints about the visibility aspect of the EVO XT-300. Besides, the helmet comes with an additional sun visor.

Comfort

The XT300 uses Laser cut foam and linings for a better fit, which is the first thing we want to draw attention to. The versatility of the comfort plan is further enhanced by the customizable linings. Remember flagship carrier is not the XT-300 in EVO’s lineup.

The Quick-release D.O.T grade metal buckle chin retention mechanism is seen when we delve deeper inside the EVO XT-300’s interior. A chin retention system, a characteristic seen on all EVO helmets, is included in this one.

The moisturewicking cheek pads are the next item. They have a pre-curved shape and are quite comfortable. One issue we have is that the speaker cutaways are a little smaller, making it maybe more difficult to put on Bluetooth speakers and be comfy at the same time. Thank goodness, unlike previous EVO helmets, the walls of this one are not as thick, making it simple to attach a Bluetooth headset.

Ventilating your temple, a pressure point, is crucial to maintaining healthy blood flow. The increased airflow to the head’s other areas and the temple region is provided by this additional cutout.

Ventilation

The passive vents on the winglets on each side of the jawline come first. These aid in facial ventilation and enhance the aerodynamic properties at high speeds. The actuated chin vent, which will vent into your face and to the face shield if necessary to aid defogging, is the next item on the list. Remember that activating the chin vent is quite simple.

EVO XT-300 vents
EVO XT-300 vents

Two operated top vents are placed along the temple region to make the XT-300 quieter. These are attached to the deep lining cutouts so that your forehead may be directly vented without creating drag. On the other hand, the upper side vents might need a little more texture to make them simpler to use when wearing gloves.

Between the two temple vents, there is, of course, a third actuated chimney vent that offers more frontal airflow.

Additional passive back vents are available:

Underneath the spoiler tips are two tiny vents.

There is a vent beneath the spoiler winglet.

A higher aerodynamic profile will result when used in the manner above, especially when riding at high speeds. Essentially, it creates a vacuum that spreads more air over your head and draws sweat away from your body.

Safety ratings

The helmet is loud even if the vents are slightly narrower than the other EVO helmets. However, the helmet’s noise will mostly rely on your riding technique. Purchase a quality set of earplugs if helmet noise is a concern for you. With DOT and ICC safety standards, the XT-300 helmet is acceptable for use in US and Asia. Unfortunately, this full-face helmet doesn’t have ECE, and Snell rating, given that it is not intended to be worn as a sports bike helmet.

Available sizes

The EVO XT-300 comes in the following shell sizes

Medium – 57-58

Large – 59-60

XL – 61-62

XXL- 63-64

Price

What should you expect to pay for the EVO XT-300 full-face motorcycle helmet, given its extensive feature set? You can acquire it for $70/€68/£58, which is quite a terrific deal with everything you receive in return.

Verdict

EVO is a motorbike helmet brand that the Philippines is proud of. EVO concentrates on providing world-class helmets at fair prices in the Philippine market.

As safety and protection for motorcycle riders are the main goals of a helmet, EVO works hard to consistently provide high-quality helmets that focus on these goals. Additionally, the EVO helmet crew is passionate, dedicated to quality, and always looking to improve.

EVO XT-300 on track
EVO XT-300 on track

First of all, with its sporty, aggressive style and an assortment of exciting designs produced for the helmet, the EVO XT-300 is one of the coolest helmets available.

Its visor is both Pinlock-ready and optically accurate. The fantastic venting design of the helmet more than makes up for it by effectively clearing the projection of fog.

Sadly, some riders may find the noise levels uncomfortable, particularly those who ride naked bikes and don’t tuck in. The speaker slots inside the helmet aren’t sufficiently deep to accommodate Bluetooth speakers.

Macna’s New Summer Motorcycle Jacket, The Breeze

The recent heatwave in England is a sure sign that the northern hemisphere will have a scorching summer. The summer months are often associated with the best riding weather, but they may sometimes reach uncomfortable highs. Though skimping on some pieces of equipment might be a risky but effective solution, being selective about your gear could be better.

No matter where you’re from, the United States, Europe, or Asia, you’ll find yourself in need of some mesh garments at some point. The good news is that Macna, a Dutch producer of motorcycle equipment and clothing, ships to practically every country in the world and carries a wide selection of breathable mesh jackets. The newest one is the Breeze, and its name fits it perfectly.

Design and comfort of Macna Breeze Jacket

The classic hoodie served as inspiration for the Breeze’s urban-friendly design. Cotton and jersey are there to provide a relaxed look and soft feel. The Breeze’s spaciousness results from the large polyester mesh panels over the chest, arms, and back. Keeping in mind that Macna Breeze Jacket is still primarily a motorcycle jacket, it has two sets of CE level 1 protections on the shoulders and elbows and aramid fiber reinforcements in the fall zones to give optimum abrasion resistance. A rider can store back protection in the same manner.

Macna had the bright idea of installing a hook system in the back of the hood to keep it level and out of the way while the bike moves quickly. It is detachable, so you can leave it at home if the weather is nice. To make it easier to manipulate the zipper while wearing gloves, there is a zip-grip insert at the foot of the zipper and press-stud adjustments for the wrists and arms.

Regarding cost and availability, Macna’s Breeze jacket retails for 189.95 Euros or $195.87 at the current currency rate. Sizes range from extra small to three extra large and come in various colors and patterns. For more news and updates, keep visiting BikersInsider.
