The Honda Hawk 11 will make its world debut at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in 2022.

That didn’t take long. There has been much speculation of a new Honda product with the same 1,084cc parallel-twin engine featured in the Africa Twin and Rebel 1100. Earlier in February 2022, BikersInsider posted a piece speculating on what the new bike would look like.

Let’s fast forward to Friday, February 25, 2022. Honda has recently made its presence known by releasing a teaser image of the upcoming Hawk 11. It will make its international debut at the 2022 Osaka Motorcycle Show, which will take place from March 19 to 21. Team Red also produced a short, 25-second teaser film for the Hawk 11 on their Japanese-language websites. It also expects to release a second teaser video between March 19.

The teaser image and single video that Honda has released so far show an extreme right front closeup of the bike’s headlight, cowl, and turn signal. The photos are dark and mysterious, as is customary for teasers. The House that Soichiro Built also holds any and all crucial spec information close to its breast ahead of the debut. It’s expected, but will the design be the same once it’s unveiled?

Similarities between official teaser and previous renders of Honda Hawk

How similar does Honda’s official Hawk 11 teaser appear to Young Machine’s speculative render earlier this month? Similar lines are visible in the teaser. The circular LED headlight in Honda’s teaser image appears to be less hollow in the cowl than in YM’s render. But, that could be an optical illusion because of the illumination in the official teaser but not rendered that way in the speculative render.

What about engine modifications? Honda’s brief paragraph of descriptive text about the Hawk 11 emphasizes the importance of appearance and how a bike does not rely on its stats. As a result, it appears that little will change in the powertrain section for this model. Will it supplant the CB1000R? That is still a guarded secret.

Honda intends to exhibit at all three major Japanese motorcycle events announced for 2022: Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya. Assume you’ll be in those regions and want to attend. In that situation, tickets are now available through a specific Honda website.

Safety features include CE-rated Omega shoulder and elbow protection in Portland. It has a built-in pocket to support a CE-rated back protector.

The engine produces 121 horsepower and 131-pound feet of torque from Indian’s liquid-cooled, 1,768cc PowerPlus V-twin engine. The bike comes with an assist clutch. It has a six-speed gearbox. The Pursuit has three riding modes: Rain, Standard, and Sport. Each one features a different throttle programming.

The system’s main elements are an inverted telescopic front fork and modern Fox rear suspension with adjustable preload. The Ride Command unit in the dash has a seven-inch touchscreen. It can adjust the rear monoshock.

The Honda CB500X ABS’s chassis comes with a rework for 2022, resulting in improved handling and stopping power.

The new Showa SFF-BP USD inverted fork on the 2022 CB500X replaces the telescopic fork, resulting in a more rigid front end. The front and rear braking systems got updates, with a two-disc setup for improved stopping force and precision. Pro-Link rear suspension with nine-stage preload adjustment is still used by Honda. The bike has a redesigned swingarm that weighs 2 pounds less than the previous model.

Rework details

Forks

The new CB500X ABS has inverted forks that are more suited to an adventure bike. Showa SFF-BP 41mm inverted forks, despite being non-adjustable, are a significant boost for off-road enthusiasts. BP refers to the Big Piston damper for more accurate action. At the same time, SFF stands for Separate Function Fork (spring in one tube, dampening in the other). An inch and a half less fork travel are possible.

Lighter swingarm

A new, lighter swingarm is there as an accessory to the new forks. The redesigned swingarm, according to Honda, is two pounds lighter while yet being as strong.

Improved brakes

The front end of the 2022 CB500X will feature double disc brakes. The single 310mm disc is no longer available in this format. We’ll be using 296mm discs and calipers from Nissin when it comes to stopping power. Non-adjustable ABS is the standard.

Aluminum alloy wheels

Wheels for the front of the vehicle have a new design. The CB500X has its adventure-ready 19-/17-inch wheel combo, but the new cast aluminum wheel trims 3.5 ounces off the unsprung weight.

Colors and Pricing

They show an updated Honda CB500X ABS for the European market. Pearl Organic Green/Black is the only color combination available for the CB500X. Dealers are currently selling the vehicle for $7199, and they should be on sale by March.

The CB500X has been a favorite among beginning, commuters, and light-adventure riders since its 2013 model year release, so this is wonderful news for the bike. With its well-balanced power delivery, smooth handling, and comfy cockpit, we found it a trustworthy and approachable motorcycle.

New chassis components will feature in Honda’s CBR500R sportbike, as the CB500X and CB500F. With an MSRP of $7,199, Honda’s midsize sportbike will be available in either Grand Prix Red or Sword Silver Metallic starting this month.

CBR500R features a new inverted 41mm Showa SFF-BP fork, a lighter swingarm, and cast-aluminum wheels. You’ll know what to expect if you’ve seen the prior model write-ups. Improved handling and a more intuitive feel are among Honda’s goals for all its 500-level motorcycles.

Front calipers on the entry-level sportbike come with twin 4-piston radial-mount units with 296mm discs.

There are a few notable exceptions. It includes a 471cc parallel-twin engine, Pro-Link rear suspension, slip/assist clutch. Bikes come with a silky smooth gearbox, LED headlamps, and a standard antilock braking system (ABS).

This may be a short view of a motorcycle moving out of an industrial gate and vanishing into the distance. It’s possible. Many people may have missed this new KTM 390 Enduro when they saw it for the first time.

It’s hard to believe that such a simple-looking bike could be one of KTM’s most intriguing offerings of the year. The real name of the bike is still a mystery, but given that it will be used both on and off-road, the KTM 390 Enduro seems like a good fit.

The enduro variant looks like a stripped-down and more focused version of the fantastic 390 Adventure from KTM. It’s ready to conquer the trails. The trellis tubing and robust sub-frame of the heavily camouflaged bike appear the same as those seen on the 390 Adventure.

Design & Build

A new swingarm is the only wholly new item on the bike we’ve seen so far. KTM’s 125 and 390 models, for the most part, have shared a swing arm design for quite some time. Diamond-shaped structure makes it easy to identify.

However, this new bike sports a more functional component, which appears to be CNC-built. I don’t know if they put this piece into a finished bike or just used it as a test before making the cast version.

The primary engine brace, also clearly visible and gleaming in CNC-machined alloy, is another strengthened component that appears brand new. Thanks to a thinner main brace, the new 390 has a reduced overall size.

A 21-inch front wheel, instead of a 19-inch, is standard on the new 390 Adventure, and the rims are correctly wire-spoke. The prototype uses Continental TKC 80 hoops to enhance its off-road credentials.

Suppose you look into your crystal ball long enough. In that case, you might see some even more intriguing models following the 390 platform’s debut as a genuine lightweight off-roader. For the past several weeks, we’ve all enjoyed Ducati’s series of videos hyping new limited edition bikes. The 7th installment of the Ducati World Premiere featured the Desert X and the Streetfighter V2. Elegant and custom-built, one of the bikes shown in the most recent episode is no exception.

Poltrona Frau is an Italian furniture conglomerate. The world’s most affluent and well-known own pieces from them because of their incomparable artistry. The two firms have reimagined one of Ducati’s most iconic models. Ducati’s high-capacity techno cruiser gets a stunning yet understated makeover. All thanks to the XDiavel Nera cooperation.

Unlike other motorcycles, the XDiavel’s personality strongly emphasizes individuality. You can personalize the seat color for a chic two-person ride and add a wider comfort saddle and a backrest made of Pelle Frau® leather.

Build & Design

Ducati XDiavel Nera is the result of a fusion of two different worlds. Something is calming about cruising, but there is also something thrilling about Ducati. The final belt drive and the Testastretta DVT 1262 engine give smooth delivery at low RPMs and full curves up to the highest RPMs.

The Testastretta DVT 1262, which exhibits in the middle of the bike, delivers 160 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 13.0 Kgm at 5,000 RPM. Low saddle height (755 mm) and forward footpeg position design provide excellent riding ease. It offers comfort at low speeds while providing thrill at high speeds.

Tubular steel trellis frame, front, and rear suspension, and chassis. It boosts the front axle’s agility and controllability. The bike’s 8″ channel on the rear makes it recognizable, making it an essential part of its aesthetics.

Suspensions & ABS unit

A 40-degree most lean angle is possible thanks to the tyre’s unusual design, which is usual for a bike of this sort. A powerful and adjustable braking system is standard, with ABS Cornering included as an option.

Brembo monobloc M50 calipers and two 320 mm discs at the front, and a 265 mm disc at the rear are fitted to the car’s braking system. Daytime running lights on the front bumper are recognizable and impact the vehicle’s appearance.

By measuring the relative roll, pitch, and speed of set-up adjustments, the XDiavel Nera has an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) from Bosch that is sent into ABS Cornering. It is a high-tech, high-performance, and safe motorcycle, the XDiavel Nera.

Special features include Poltrona Frau’s proprietary Pelle Frau leather saddle. The design is to order and offers a wide range of customization options. Abrasion resistance and suppleness make this premium skin selection suitable for motorcycle saddles.

The saddle of the Ducati XDiavel Nera is available in five different colors. The critical chain and matching document holder, both made of Pelle Frau, further enhance the bike’s uniqueness. Ducati’s Testastretta DVT 1262 engine powers the XDiavel. The XDiavel is a strong cruiser with 160 horsepower and 94 pound-feet of torque.

With its “Black on Black” paint, the new XDiavel Nera boasts both gloss and matte black sections. The XDiavel Nera has a sportier look thanks to this livery. It comes in the Ducati Jet helmet that comes with the bike.
