Zero Motorcycles and Deus Ex Machina announced that they are teaming up to bring a new custom Zero SR/S motorcycle. That is a great move, as it will greatly complement the new Zero 2021 lineup.
For those who don’t know, Deus Ex Machina is a custom motorcycle constructor that has quite an extensive portfolio – from tracker bikes to cafe racers. They are renowned around the market because of their unique takes on amazing motorcycles.
Well, the thing is, their portfolio consists only of gas-powered motorcycles. This collaboration with Zero Motorcycles is their first voyage into electric motorcycles, and it’s certainly an exciting deal.
Zero SR/S is actually the first factory-commissioned Zero motorcycle, which makes it a real rarity. It’s a great fusion of old and new, with a vintage style that meets modern tech features.
The director of Deus Ex Machina, Michael Woolaway, says that his genuine desire with this project is to create a modern/vintage, track-only combination. Also, he will source some components from bikes in the World Superbikes series.
