Triumph Motorcycles recently teased what seems to be a new Speed Twin 1200 RS naked model on social media. They posted videos of a bright orange parallel twin naked riding quickly down a mountain path on their Instagram account.

Experience the thrill of exhilarating sports performance combined with agile, dynamic handling, all wrapped in the timeless style and character that only Triumph can deliver,” a page of the website’s preview stated. “Be among the first to experience Triumph’s newest edition to the Modern Classics range.”

It looks like an upgraded version of the Hinckley brand’s liquid-cooled, 8-valve, SOHC, 270-degree crank engine.

Speed Twin 1200 RS Engine

This engine is now available in the Speed Twin, Scrambler 1200, Bonneville Bobber, and Bonneville T120 models. The bike featured here most likely belongs to the Speed Twin 1200 RS family due to its upright position and sporty tilt. The social teaser ends with a second, more veiled version completed in gray, potentially indicating a revised base model.

The bike looks to have golden upside-down forks from Öhlins, in addition to its dazzling orange paint and modest RS badges. This would replace the existing £11,995 basic bike’s 43mm Marzocchi components, which have 120mm of travel.
