The Brixton Storr 500 has already entered the Chinese market. It is stylistically similar to the Husqvarna Norden 901, which is yet another instance of Chinese firms drawing influence from so-called ‘larger manufacturers’. Brixton is also rumored to be developing a flagship adventure bike based on the new Storr motorbike. It will be a more premium variant, powered by the identical 1200cc parallel-twin engine as the Brixton Cromwell 1200, which is very similar to the Triumph Bonneville T120.

But that doesn’t mean it lacks distinguishing elements, as the Storr 500 has finer body panels than a bike considered direct competition, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Other modifications include a larger gasoline tank and a fairing plate that links the tank to the headlight.

Beneath the bodywork, the Brixton Storr 500 has a tubular steel frame and an independent sub-frame. It has 19/17-inch tubeless wire-spoke wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires. Consider the Honda NX500, as well as the Himalayan 450, to be bikes against which the Storr 500 will compete. It produces a maximum of 47 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 31 lb-ft of peak torque at 6,700 rpm.

The Storr 500 has seen many delays, having first appeared at the EICMA in 2022. However, the bike never made it to market, and there’s a good reason for that. Brixton, a brand owned by KSR Group, experienced financial troubles and even underwent a court-supervised reorganization to get back on track.

However, with those financial woes behind them, the Storr 500 appears to be ready for international release. For more updates and news about Brixton Storr 500, keep visiting BikersInsider.
