Royal Enfield Finally Unveils The Meteor 350!

After a slew of rumors and leaked test images, the latest 350 outing from Royal Enfield, the Meteor 350, has been finally unveiled for the Indian market. And now, here are some juicy details we know about!

First of all, the Meteor 350 features a J1D platform build. Essentially, this is a double-cradle frame that has two-channel ABS disc brakes, dual rear shock absorbers, and a telescopic fork.

The Meteor 350 sports a 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with fuel injection that produces 21 horsepower and 20 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with a five-speed gearbox. The fuel tank has a capacity of 4 gallons (15 liters).

This bike has a seat height of 30 inches (76 cm), a 19-inch front wheel (48 cm), and a 17-inch rear wheel (43 cm).

From the aesthetical side, the Meteor 350 sports a retro, classic cruiser exterior. Still, the modern tech has made its way to this bike, too, including:

  • USB charging port
  • Display with digital setup and speedometer
  • Another display that can serve as GPS navigation (when you pair it with your phone)

It’s good to know that Royal Enfield plans to sell the Meteor 350 in three trim levels: Fireball, Stellar, and Supernova. Every trim level will feature different color schemes and other trivial changes.

If we convert the prices from the Indian rupees, the pricing goes like this:

  • Fireball – $2,378/€2,010/£1,805
  • Stellar – $2,450/€2,071/£1,860
  • Supernova – $2,575/€2,176/£1,955

The great news is that the Meteor 350 will launch in Europe sometime this December. It may get launched in North America too!
