We already know that Kawasaki ZX-25R sportbike is in the works for a while, but there is still more to be desired when it comes to more details about it. Now we know that Kawasaki Indonesia is planning to reveal the motorcycle on July 10th officially!
We know that the ZX-25R features a 250cc four-cylinder engine, which may be an oddity for the US market, but for Indonesia and other markets, it is a great way to offer real high-performance and keep the displacement low for riders. Some sources state that the motorcycle will make 50 horsepower, while some leaked information says that it makes 40 horsepower at the rear wheel.
When it comes to the reveal date, it was slated for an earlier time, but the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted things a bit. Keep in mind that the reveal will be in digital format, in the spirit of COVID-19 precautions. We are very excited to see this motorcycle in motion! For now, there is no word for the US release, but it is very likely to come to that market judging from the popularity of other Kawasaki bikes.
And for the end, check out the brief March video of the ZX-25R in action below!
