BMW has already unveiled the G 310 GS, but now they’ve unveiled the companion bike – the G 310 R!
It has the same 313cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the G 310 GS. Also, it has 34 hp and 21 lb-ft of torque. This engine got an update to comply with the Euro 5 emission standards and the Indian emission standards. Basically, this is a motorcycle for the global market.
Some interesting updates slated for G 310 R are:
- Ride-by-wire throttle
- LED lighting
- Adjustable brake and clutch levels
- Some new color schemes
- Anti-hopping clutch
- Minor style changes
There is still not any word on how much the new 2021 variant will cost in North America and Europe. In India, the price of the bike is ₹2.45 lakh, which equals to $3,343/€2,831/£2,564. We can only presume that it will be more expensive in North America and Europe.
We are very excited to find out more about this bike, as we love that BMW is putting extra effort into smaller-displacement machines!
