Bajaj will finally release its RS400 sports motorcycle this August. They will launch it first in Indonesia, then in other markets afterward. Although we lack detailed information about this motorbike, some reports state that this bike will be more comfortable than other sports motorcycles. Well, that certainly makes it more attractive to a bigger number of riders.
Well, a lot of time had passed from when this bike was first shown in 2014. At that time, it was the largest displacement model from Bajaj in India. Another peculiar thing is that the bike won’t be sold in India, its domestic market. Of course, this will most certainly change in the future.
Some specs that we know of are:
- LED headlamps and taillights
- Split seats
- Full digital instrument group
- 373cc engine based on the KTM 390 engine, albeit it will be differently tuned
This could be a pretty interesting bike, albeit we doubt that it will release soon in the UK or the US. Nevertheless, it is great to see Bajaj moving on with its projects, which certainly means good things for the company and its partners.
