Just a few days ago, on 6th May, Husqvarna has unveiled their Vektorr concept. It will be an e-scooter fit for urban commutes. This is just another reveal that proves Husqvarna is ready to take the EV market by storm. The company also unveiled E-pilen concept motorcycle slated to launch in 2022.
The Vektorr electric scooter will be similar to other e-scooters on the market, with the main inspiration being the Bajaj Chetak. This inspiration makes sense as the Vektorr will be built at the Bajaj’s new production plant.
Looking at the build of the Vektorr itself, we can see that it is made to be convenient for urban commutes. On the front is the single LED headlight. We can also see the mudguards. Also, it will sport a front hydraulic disc brake and a mechanical drum brake on the rear.
The Vektorr will have a top speed of 45 km/h (which is 28 mph), with the 95 km range on a single charge (which is 60 mph). We still don’t know if you will be able to replace its battery. But, we know that its electric motor will have a power output of 8 kW (which is 11 horsepower).
We are eager to see how this e-scooter performs in commutes! In the meantime, check the gallery below for some dope shots of the Vektorr!
