BMW Is Expanding Rental Programs To US And Other Countries!

It is great to cover some good news for motorcycle manufacturers during the COVID-19 worldwide crisis! Such good news comes from BMW, who plans to expand its Rent a Ride service to new markets. The service is now only available in Europe. By the end of the year, BMW plans to expand to 100 rental partners in 12 countries, which is undoubtedly an ambitious move.

However ambitious it may be, this move is certainly possible, as BMW has thousands of dealerships worldwide. With such a vast network, BMW can cash-in tremendously with its Rent a Ride service. In Europe, 89 dealerships are already a part of this program, and we see no reason why a dealership wouldn’t want more traffic that this program offers.

For a start, BMW plans to expand in Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Austria, and Thailand. After that expansion, they will expand their rental service to Romania, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the US. If all goes well, there will be more expansions to come!

We certainly like what BMW is doing with this rental service! As a rider, you can apply for a rental of an available machine and accessories as well as gear. You can ride wherever you want inside the rental periods. Some dealerships are suggesting routes for those who want to take the rented machines for a spin. This model is incredible for those who want to test the bike before deciding for the final buy. We are eager to see how the expansion will get by this year!
