Metamask?

Polygon.

Polygon

Polygon

The New Royal Enfield Classic 350 Is Finding Its Way To Europe

0

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 handles the company’s success in India. It was one of the best-selling motorcycles in India for a period. It helped Royal Enfield establish itself as a force to be reckoned with in the worldwide motorcycle industry.

The Classic 350 had a concise, no-frills layout and was about as basic and barebones as you could go on two wheels.

This resulted in an inexpensive system to buy and affordable to maintain due to its excellent reliability. As it turned out, this recipe was generally acceptable. The Classic 350 would find its way to other Asian markets in the future.

US and European markets

It even made its way to the United States and Europe with a larger engine in the shape of the Classic 500. To expand its model selection, Royal Enfield launched the Meteor 350 in 2020. The design Meteor has an all-new chassis and had a modern engine. It nonetheless gave a classic performance, particularly bottom-end torque.

Royal Enfield Classic 350
Royal Enfield Classic 350

The Meteor 350 gets inspiration from Royal Enfield’s J platform, assumed to be the foundation for the next-generation Classic 350. Royal Enfield put those suspicions to rest by confirming that the brand’s most famous model would be returning.

The revised Classic 350, available in India in late 2021, is essentially a Meteor 350 in a more conventional design. The new Classic 350, like its predecessor, has upright bars. It features mid controls, and a low seat, making it pleasant to ride for lengthy periods.

Expected pricing

It now carries a contemporary punch as well. That should, with the Meteor 350’s 350cc engine taking center stage. The Bike features electronic fuel injection, but it is still air-cooled.

As a result, it now produces 20 horsepower, which is plenty for in-city commuting and the odd highway trip. The new bike is also Euro 5-compliant, meeting the most current emissions rules. The new bike will be available in Europe later this year, with prices at 4,789 Euros, or USD 5,411.

Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid 2022 Makes Its European Debut

The introduction of Yamaha’s Ténéré 700 altered the game in the inexpensive middleweight adventure cycle sector. The Yamaha Ténéré 700 definitely gave the orange beast a run for its money in space before being inhabited and dominated by the KTM 790 Adventure.

Although it lacked some of the features found on the KTM, the Ténéré 700 was far less expensive and within the price range of the great majority of riders.

Yamaha has strengthened the Ténéré 700 even more for the 2022 model year. The tuning fork business has introduced an improved version dubbed the World Raid on the European market.

The Ténéré 700 World Raid is Yamaha’s newest long-distance adventure touring motorbike. The intention is to improve your riding experience and introduce you to roads and no roads you’ve ever seen before.

More fuel storage

High capacity dual gasoline tanks provide the bike a total fuel capacity of 23 liters, one of the bike’s distinguishing features. It now has upgraded long-travel suspension, which gives you confidence no matter how nasty the terrain is.

Thanks to its massive twin fuel tanks, the Ténéré 700 World Raid ranges up to 500 kilometers on a full gas tank. This offers you the courage to take the road less traveled without worrying about running out of gas in the midst of nowhere.

Yamaha Ténéré 700

The World Raid also has new technological components, such as a new five-inch TFT full-color display. Bluetooth smartphone connection is now a feature of the system. It allows you to stay connected to the world around you no matter where you travel.

Build and design

The ergonomics of the 2022 Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid are to be more off-road focussed. It has a two-piece flat rally saddle and tall and wide handlebars with plenty of leverage. It has three modes of customizable ABS. These modes allow you to change your preferences based on the train.

Yamaha Ténéré 700 Featured
Yamaha Ténéré 700 Desert Ride

Yamaha modified front forks to 43 mm KYB units with 230 mm suspension travel. A longer aluminum piggyback unit provides 220 mm of movement at the rear. The Ténéré 700 World Raid also has a sophisticated Ohlins adjustable steering damper.

Expected price

Last but not least, the 2022 Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid retains the powerful CP2 Crossplane parallel-twin engine. With a new airbox, its engine is Euro 5-compliant. It produces roughly 75 horsepower, making it a punchy and powerful bike both on and off the road. All these enhanced benefits, of course, come at a cost.

The Yamaha Ténéré 700 World Raid will cost 11,600 Euros, or USD 13,108. As you know, determining the costs of models in different areas is difficult. We’ll have to wait and see whether Yamaha will offer the World Raid in the United States very soon.

You will be hearing soon from our side in case of progress. So keep visiting BikersInsider for more news and updates.

The Triumph TE-1 Working Prototype Electric Bike Has Been Revealed

The battery has a maximum power output of 170 kilowatts (228 horsepower) when fully charged. In contrast, the battery’s continuous output is 90 kilowatts (121 bhp). This allows the motorcycle to produce a maximum power of 130 kW (174 bhp) and a sustained power of 80 kW (107 bhp).

However, the 360-volt system of the TE-1 is also capable of a short charging period of fewer than 20 minutes for charging from 0% to 80%.

When designing the TE-1, WAE says it took into account the bike’s center of gravity, motor, and charging to optimize the battery architecture. Battery packs are now lighter and more compact thanks to new vehicle control units integrated within the battery pack.

The WMG remained in charge of the final pre-live trial simulation after all the other components were in place. WMG According to the team’s plan, the project is on schedule to meet its performance and durability goals.

Expected launch

According to Triumph, the project’s test results exceed the criteria and targets set by the UK Automotive Council for 2025. It indicates that it is far ahead of schedule development. This, in turn, is encouraging for the future development of Triumph electric motorcycles.

Phase 3 of Project TE-1’s collaboration is now complete, and we may move on to Phase 4. The bike will undertake Triumph’s own testing in the coming months. It will provide conducting live testing. Triumph will fine-tune every aspect of the prototype’s performance and handling.

The expected time for completion of phase 4 of the project is in the Summer of 2022, at the earliest. The prototype will get its final body panels and paint scheme as soon as that’s done.

It will be going on an active test run and releasing the final specifications test results. All the intriguing stuff Triumph learned over the process.

Triumph’s first electric prototype motorcycle was built from the ground up during Phase 3. However, Bloor, the company’s chief executive, has previously stated that the TE-1 will serve as a significant pillar in Triumph’s long-term electrification strategy.

We are very excited about this motorbike. If you want more news and updates about Triumph TE-1, keep visiting BikersInsider.

Kawasaki is working on a camera system for the next Ninja H2 SX.

0

Kawasaki has made it evident that it aims to be the market leader in rider help technologies. The 2022 Ninja H2 SX now has front and rear radars. It makes this bike one of the quickest and safest sport-tourers on the market.

Radar is a significant step ahead when it comes to adaptive safety features. It demonstrates that it has been utilized in automobiles for more than a decade. Yet, Kawasaki feels that it can make things even safer for motorcycles.

Kawasaki ARAS
Kawasaki Advanced Rider Assistance System

With the radar technology in the 2022 H2 SX, many features are possible. It includes adaptive cruise control, collision warnings, and blind-spot monitoring are already possible. This gadget, which has a discreet look that praises the bike’s design, is a result of the help of Bosch.

Radar vs Camera Technology

Radar is good, but cameras can assist compensate for the things that radar misses. It is what Kawasaki is working on for the Ninja H2 SX’s next generation.

Team Green has filed for more patents for a camera-based system mounted on the front of the bike. According to the patent application, the cameras allow features like cornering lights. More critically, better crash prevention features.

It includes traction control, automated braking, and lane-keep assist. This is fascinating information. The cameras are likely to discern items such as pedestrians, other cars, and snags.

Kawasaki Forward Collision Warning

Implementation of ARAS and similar technologies

Kawasaki’s ongoing development of safety features such as radar and camera-powered systems. It wouldn’t be shocking to see these features appear as early as the 2023 model year. Although the Ninja H2 SX platform seems to be Kawasaki’s test dummy.

There’s no disputing that other bikes, like the Versys adventure-touring range, might enjoy higher levels of safety tech as well.

Kawasaki appears to be the first Japanese brand to take adaptive riding aids. Radar technology has already made its debut in the European market. Manufacturers like BMW, KTM, and Ducati have been using radar tech since 2020. But, camera-based systems are being explored for mass manufacture on two-wheelers.

The Honda Hawk is expected to replace the CB1100 in Honda’s lineup.

0

The Japanese motorcycle press has already been on high alert this week. Reports claim that a replacement for the CB1100 will arrive shortly. The motorcycle in query is the much-discussed Hawk idea, a retro-styled café racer powered by an Africa Twin engine.

Moving away from the air-cooled inline four-cylinder architecture of the outgoing CB1100. It is being compelled by ever-stricter pollution rules, making the usage of large-capacity air-cooled engines problematic.

To get around this, Honda might be using its CRF1100L engine. With its clean-running and potent parallel-twin stepping up once more, as it did with the CMX1100 Rebel and NT1100 models.

The company claims to have settled on the name Honda Hawk for this motorcycle, short for Hawk 1100. For starters, it distinguishes the motorcycle from the preceding CB model. While also evoking another motorcycle from Honda’s past.

The CB400T was introduced in 1977 and was also known as the Hawk in some markets. It was also a parallel twin of the CB400, introduced in 1977.

Reveal date of Honda Hawk

It’s unclear when the reimagined Hawk will make its public debut. The Japanese press appears to have a general idea of when it will happen. Two major motorcycle events will be held in Japan this spring.

The Osaka Motorcycle Show at the beginning of March and the Tokyo Motorcycle Show at the end of the month. Many Japanese reports predict that the bike will reveal itself at the Osaka show. Then unveiled in its entirety at the Tokyo event. And it’s possible that the Hawk won’t be the only one to get their moment in the spotlight.

Considering that the Transalp and Hornet are also in development. Honda could have a hectic spring season ahead of them. For more news and updates keep visiting BikersInsider.

GRMoto’s Yellow Arrow Is A Perfect Husqvarna Vitpilen 701

0

Almost every motorcycle manufacturer now has its own take on a middle-weight retro-style bike. In the industry, the phrase “neo-retro” is a common term.

These bikes differ in appearance and are just modern model motorbikes. Thus, neo made to seem vintage. Bikes like the CB650R to vintage-style Triumphs are as performance machines as aesthetic icons.

The Husqvarna Vitpilen 701, based on the KTM 690 Duke, is an actual work of neo-retro design. The only traits that hint at its retro-inspired style are the circular headlamp and truncated tail.

Its lithe and athletic features give it a slim appearance, implying a swift and agile machine. It is speedy and elegant. All thanks to its responsive 693cc single-cylinder engine. It is one of the highest-capacity thumpers currently on the market.

Husqvarna-Vitpilan-701-with-a-Rider
Husqvarna Vitpilan 701 Yellow Arrow Customization

Unsurprisingly, the Vitpilen 701 is a popular platform for custom builders to express themselves. The 701’s custom constructions come in various shapes and sizes, some weirder than others.

We like those with the more modest style that detract too much from the bike’s already good-looking factory looks. GRMoto’s Yellow Arrow is an example of such a design.

The Yellow Arrow is, without a doubt, a Vitpilen 701. No matter how you look at it, it’s a Husky Vitpilen 701, but with a few distinct changes that set it apart.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 Yellow Arrow
Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 Yellow Arrow

The most significant thing is that GRMoto offers the kit seen on this bike as a bolt-on body kit compatible with all Vitpilen 701 model years. The motorbike keeps its circular headlamp upfront, but this time with a bit of cowl that gives it a sporty appearance.

The radiator comes with matching yellow shrouds. A big belly pan covers the bottom of the engine, giving the bike a semi-faired appearance.

Of course, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 is a high-performance machine. GRMoto has upgraded it to get even more out of it. Showa shocks feature in the forks upfront.

The new Brembo M50 brake calipers and a Brembo RCS Cortacorse master cylinder help the bike come to a more abrupt halt. The Bike is finished with a blacked-out factory exhaust system with a CNC end cap and sportbike-s.

Leaked photos of Brabus 1300 R on KTM official website, before launch

0

We discovered leaked photos of what we assumed to be the revived Husqvarna Vitpilen 1301 in January 2022. We thought the KTM 1290 Super Duke-based prototype would fit into Husky’s portfolio.

It is based on its round headlamp and futuristic styling. Yet, we reported that a joint effort between automobile tuning specialists Brabus and KTM will use the Super Duke as a foundation.

After months of public conjecture and testing by the partners, a KTM website leak confirms that the two are identical. With the Brabus 1300 R about to join the market on February 11, 2022, KTM released the model’s dedicated webpage before removing it.

While the homepage is no longer active. A fast search engine inquiry will reveal the model’s gallery photo(s) on the KTM website.

Tagline for Brabus 1300 R

“Heart of a Beast, Soul of a Gentleman”, encapsulates the rebellious attitude. The 1290 Super Duke also alludes to Brabus’ more refined style.

While we’ll have to wait until the 1300 R is introduced to learn the model’s exact features and cost. The photos suggest that Brabus’ first motorcycle will be based on the announced 1290 Super Duke Evo.

KTM Brabus 1300 R 2022 Bodywork

As a result, many expect the Brabus 1300 R to include an electronically-damped WP Apex front end. An electronically-adjustable WP mono-shock and the Super Duke’s 180-horsepower 1,301cc V-twin engine.

While we expect the Brabus to share many characteristics with its KTM sibling. The special-edition model will have two carbon fiber air intakes on both fuel tank sides.

Lightweight build

Carbon fiber is also a significant element in the new design. The light material made headlamp nacelle, brake caliper cooling ducts, tank trim, and tail unit. Premium features like CNC-milled footpegs and adjustable levers round out the new package.

More information about the 1300 R’s specifications will be revealed when released. But, it appears that Brabus is using the released EVO version of the 1290 Super Duke R as its base model.

KTM Brabus 1300 R Sideview

As a result, expect roughly 180hp held in check by a slew of electrical gadgets. It meant to keep the 1300 R in check on and off the racing track. As well as access to the updated WP APEX suspension set-up with electronic damping.

According to early estimates, 77 Brabus 1300 R units will mark the company’s founding in 1977. The bike will be available in Magma Red or Signature Black liveries colors. The more we will know when the bike will hit the market. For more news and updates on this beauty keep visiting BikersInsider.

The Voge 650 DSX adventure motorbike has been unveiled for the UK.

0

The Voge 650 DSX, like the 500DS we reviewed in the summer of last year, is a middleweight adventure machine. Unlike the 500DS, its objectives are more slanted toward the off-road side of life.

A 652cc, 47bhp single-cylinder engine powers the bike, allowing it to sail in A2-compliant restriction. The switch to a one-pot thumper makes the Voge and out-of-the-box. An interesting proposition in a market flooded with multi-platform parallel twin-cylinder adventure motorcycles.

The Voge 650 DSX sports an adventure-ready 19″ front wheel and a 17″ rear tyre. Both of which are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally hoops. KYB handles the suspension, which includes USD forks and a rear mono-shock.

There’s no mention of adjustability in the press statement. While considering the bike’s cheap nature and sub-£6.5k price tag, we’d imagine that some mechanical pre-load at the rear would be the limit.

The braking system, like the suspension, is low-cost, though the Nissin callipers used can perform if properly set up. Cornering ABS isn’t mentioned, and at this price point, it shouldn’t be, but Voge does say that the rear ABS is switchable for off-road riding.

The Voge 650 DSX’s meter display has a nice-looking TFT dash. It may appear a little gaudy on certain Chinese-made motorcycles. This is not the case here, as the system appears to be clean, easy to read, and well-organized.

A tyre pressure monitoring system, an adjustable screen, a USB port, sequential LED indicators, off-road pegs (with rubber inserts), and a rear luggage rack are also provided.

For those looking for a more rugged, off-road-ready appearance. The Voge 650 DSX comes with a full luggage option for £899.99.

The bike is available in Black, Red, or Blue and has a starting price of £6,399 or £6,899 for the kitted-out version. The bike is available in the UK from February 9, 2022.

The Color Scheme of the 2022 KTM 890 Duke R Is Inspired by MotoGP.

0

The 890cc parallel-twin produces 121 horsepower and 73 lb-ft of torque, preserving all of the excitement that made the 890 Duke platform so famous when it first debuted in 2020 on the KTM lineup.

Six-axis IMU, wheel slip control sensor, and pitch angle control sensor help tame the beast with cornering ABS and lean-sensitive traction control, but it’s still a beast.

The bike has received a slight modification for 2022, with much of the cycle parts, engine, and systems staying the same. For the front, that means Brembo Stylema monoblock calipers mated to an MCS master cylinder and WP Apex suspension as before.

KTM-890-Duke-R-side-profile-static
KTM 890 Duke R side profile

For road and track riding, you’ll have Michelin Power Cup 2 tyres and a set of electronics to keep everything in check.

Additional Track riding mode can get the regular Road, Street, and Rain modes for those who prefer to ride in a more competitive environment. The 890’s nine degrees of traction control slip, switchable anti-wheelie, and additional throttle control settings make it both exciting and accommodating.

This year’s Atlantic Blue livery on the Super Scalpel emphasizes the model’s performance pedigree. The matte blue hue of the KTM 1290 Super Duke R was an inspiration from the RC 16 MotoGP race bike.

KTM’s orange-painted trellis frame makes the 890 Duke R stick out even more from the middleweight-naked crowd thanks to its Grand Prix-inspired color.

KTM-890-Duke-R
KTM 890 Duke R 2022

KTM has yet to release the MSRP of the next 890 Duke R, which will arrive in showrooms in February 2022. The pricing should not be much higher than the $11,999 sticker price of the 2021 model because of the paint change.

Unfortunately, the trickiest riding mode (TRACK) on the 2022 KTM Duke 890 R will still cost money for many riders who want all the bells and whistles.

The feature comes on the bike’s TFT dash, so all you have to do is ask your dealer to unlock it. It’s a shame, really. For review and first look of this beauty keep visiting BikersInsider.
