In the Asian market, Yamaha releases new color options for the Yamaha MT-03.

The Yamaha MT-03 is a popular bike in the U.S. market because it gives novice riders a user-friendly option with a style that resembles the larger bikes in the M.T. line from Yamaha. The Yamaha YZF-platform-sharing R3’s younger brother. The Master of Torque features a more upright seating posture that is far more friendly for people just getting used to with two-wheeled transportation.

However, the Yamaha MT-03 is a premium model in Asia. Many motorcycle owners move to it from smaller scooters or basic versions. It follows that it’s not strange that it’s an appropriate choice among people looking for a sporty naked bike for the everyday commute. Concerning the Asian market, Thailand has seen the arrival of the updated Yamaha MT-03 Dark Blast Edition. Setting this version of the MT-03 apart from other versions, which cost the equivalent of $5,354 USD, includes different color schemes.

The first shade, Gray, is similar to the 2021 model but has cyan wheels as opposed to red ones from the previous generation. The motorcycle’s bodywork comes in grey with red and cyan designs. Additionally, the MT-03 Dark Blast Edition now offers a full-black color option in place of the previous model’s blue/grey paint scheme.

Specifications

Except for these additional color options, the MT-03 Dark Blast Edition is the same as it was previously. Its 321cc parallel-twin engine competes directly with the Kawasaki Z400 and KTM 390 Duke and generates 42 horsepower and 21 pound-feet of torque. Regarding features, it includes complete LED illumination, dual-channel ABS, and full LCD instrumentation—though not the expensive TFT version.

Price and availability

The upgraded Yamaha MT-03 will be available in Thailand. It will arrive in nearby Asian nations very soon. The revised naked roadster is available for purchase for USD 5,354. We anticipate the new hue arriving in U.S. and European markets in the upcoming months.
